Qualification
Important Links
Agricultural Officer (Extension): A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and adequate knowledge of Tamil.
Architectural Assistant/Planning Assistant:
- A Master’s degree in Town Planning or its equivalent, or
- Associate Membership of the Institute of Town Planners of India or the Institute of Architects of India, or
- A degree in Civil Engineering, or
- A degree in Architecture, or
- An A.M.I.E (Civil) qualification, i.e., Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers (India).
Assistant Curator (Archaeology): Must possess a degree in Sanskrit with knowledge of Dravidian languages and Ancient Indian History; or A degree in Archaeology (with working knowledge in Sanskrit and high qualification in Sanskrit), and knowledge of Dravidian languages, scripts, and Ancient Indian History. If no candidate with the above qualifications is available, candidates with a degree in History and working knowledge of Sanskrit will be considered. Preference will be given to those with higher qualifications in Sanskrit.
Assistant Curator (Anthropology): Must possess a B.Sc. in Zoology or a degree in Anthropology. Preference will be given to candidates with a Diploma in Anthropology if they hold a degree in Zoology.
Assistant Engineer (Civil): Must possess a B.E. degree in Civil Engineering or Civil and Structural Engineering; or Must have passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations under the Civil Engineering Branch.
